Hanging Installations and Feature Pieces Master Class

July sure has been a busy month for Pearsons School of Floristry. We recently held our first Hanging Installations and Feature Pieces Master Class. It was a fantastic course and the students created some amazing designs including a stunning nature scape inspired wedding seat and arbour and a luxurious table runner with matching chandeliers!

It was such a pleasure to welcome a great group of students, all with experience in the industry. From a diverse range of floristry backgrounds including past Pearsons Students who have gone on to open their own successful business, returning to us to gain inspiration and keep up to date with current trends in our industry.

At the end of the two days we had laughed a lot, learnt a lot, worked with an abundance of beautiful flowers and had all got to know each other well. So much so that plans were made to keep in touch and help each other out with contacts and support. Proof that Floristry is lifelong learning and networking is key to building positive and supportive relationships in our beautiful industry.

Our Master Classes are an excellent pathway on from Certificate lll, or for industry experienced florists wishing to expand on their skills, learn new techniques and be across current trends as well as network with likeminded people. Next up is our Whimsical Weddings Master Class, a chance to break free from restricted design styles and work a with natural, graceful style so key in current design trends.
