Creative Installations for Events Workshop
An in depth look at the various mechanics and construction methods required for a range of installation feature pieces including hanging and large scale designs and ideas suitable for both weddings or events.
We will explore the problem solving steps required for creating bespoke floral designs in line with current trends in our industry using popular floral and foliage materials. Designs will be constructed in groups.
The course runs for 2 days.
Nothing but your love of flowers and appetite for design! Don’t forget your camera, there will be plenty of photo opportunities to record your efforts. (Lunch is not provided but there are many places to purchase something on the day!)
Do I need to wear anything special?
To ensure your safety, non-slip closed in shoes must be worn to all classes. We recommend wearing comfortable casual attire - all our classes are hands-on!
Do I need to have any prior experience to do a short course?
Our BEGINNER short course range is suitable for complete beginners, no experience neccesary.
Our INTERMEDIATE short course range is suitable for students with a little floral experience. Please contact us directly if you have any concerns regarding your experience level prior to enrolling.
What happens if I miss a class?
If you know you will be unable to attend a class and would like to organise a make-up class, you are required to give 10 business days notice directly to the school office, not to your trainer. If sufficient notice is received, the school will find a mutually suitable time for you to transfer to another class (numbers permitting).
