What will I learn?

One of the most influential trends in weddings today, unstructured whimsical bouquets and florals are everywhere right now. This course is ideal for those who wish to break away from round, tight posy bouquets, and who wish to be across this design style when brides bring in their Instagram and Pinterest mood boards.

In this Master Class we will explore the current trend for natural and wild florals with that whimsical edge. You will learn the latest techniques for creating large but weightless wedding bouquets, compote footed bowls and urns with no foam, garlands and other pieces in a natural rambling style focusing on the use of gestural placements, layering colour and texture. We will also look at styling props and sourcing interesting items for display. A photographic area will be available for you to style and shoot your pieces for your portfolio, so be sure to bring your camera!

This class is ideal for experienced florists who are looking to update their Wedding Portfolios in a creative, professional and fun learning environment.
