What you will learn

The Pearsons Certificate III program has been developed with a contemporary florist and learner in mind. Based on the national curriculum and our 50 years experience in the florist industry, we have developed a program that reflects current trends in floristry.

You will build your skills in:

  • Flowers: their use in design and professional care.
  • Design: flower styling, colour, sketching and photography
  • Floristry Techniques: Creating floral designs for use in retail floristry, gifting, weddings and funerals.
  • Working in floristry: We treat the classroom as a florist studio. Each design has a customer and occasion in mind.

Our classroom program is divided into 3 different learning clusters, each with a specific theme. There are 33 days in the classroom, plus 5 days of Work Experience.
