Payment and Cancellation Policy for Short Courses:

Full payment is due at the time of enrolment in a Short Course. Cancellations of Short Courses made at least two weeks (10 business days) before the start date are permitted and refunds will be arranged less 20% of the total amount paid.

Missing a class:

If you know you will be unable to attend a class and would like to organise a make-up class, you are required to give 10 business days notice directly to the school office, not to your trainer. If sufficient notice is received, the school will find a mutually suitable time for you to transfer to another class (numbers permitting). If you are absent on your enrolled day of class and are unable to provide the school with sufficient notice of your absence, these are your options:

    • Send a friend or family member to do the class in your place
    • Ring the school during office hours and organize a time to collect your class flowers. Please note that flowers can only be kept for collection until close of business the day after your class.
    • You can reschedule a make up class but you will have to pay a fee for the flowers and materials. The additional fees are: $50 for a 2 hour session; $70 for a 3 hour session; or $120 for a Full Day session. Terms and conditions apply. As we are dealing with fresh materials, and to be fair to all students, no refunds will be entered into.

‘Creative Installation Workshop’ and ‘Advanced Design Wedding Workshop’:
If you are absent on your enrolled day of class no refund or credit to another class will be adhered to. 

If you are absent on your enrolled day of class no refund or credit to another class will be available. 

If your class falls on a weekend please leave a message on the schools answering machine or send an email to notify the school – You can contact the school administration on 02 9550 7755 or via email: school@pearsonsflorist.com.au. We will contact you on the next business day.

 

Course Changes:

PSF reserves the right to cancel classes where numbers are not sufficient and transfer students to a mutually suitable session. If no mutually suitable time can be found, a full refund will be provided. PSF reserves the right to change the location of the classes to suit numbers or room availability.

Gift Vouchers:

All PSF gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the issue date. You can redeem your gift voucher by either booking online or ringing the school on (02) 9550 7755 and quoting the gift voucher/order number. Please note that no extensions after this date will be granted.

Appropriate Footwear:

To ensure your safety, non-slip closed-in shoes must be worn to all classes. No thongs, open footwear or high heels are permitted in the classrooms. Indemnity: While all care is taken, you are responsible for your own safety and property when travelling to and attending a course at Pearsons School of Floristry.

Discounts and Promotional offers:

Any purchases made using a discount or promotional offer are strictly non-refundable or transferable and must be redeemed within the stipulated time frame.

  • Bring a Friend for Free to a Pearsons Workshop. Enrol in any 2019 ‘1 DAY WORKSHOP’ or ‘2 HOUR WORKSHOP’ during the month of September – includes Christmas workshops.
    NOT included: ‘FLORA DESIGN SERIES’ and ‘INTERMEDIATE’ workshops. Offer valid September 1-30, 2019. Bookings made through the website will be automatically discounted - please comment second attendees details in customer notes section when checking out. Second attendee must be attending the same workshop as the first attendee. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. 
  • Short Course Rebate
    Students will receive a 50% rebate of their short course fee which will contribute towards your Certificate III deposit. The rebate will be subtracted from the Certificate III deposit amount ONLY. Full payment for the short course booking is to be paid in full prior to course commencement. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. This offer must be redeemed within 3 months from your workshop date.
  • Certificate III Taster Workshop Rebate
    You will receive a 100% rebate on the Taster Workshop cost towards your Certificate III deposit if you enrol on the day of your workshop. Your non-refundable deposit must be paid within 3 working days of the course to be eligible for this rebate.
    Not ready on the day? Pearsons will still honour a 50% rebate (see Short Course rebate above) if you enrol within 3 months from your workshop date. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. This offer is not valid for Smart & Skilled enrolments.

Certificate III Student benefits:

As a Certificate III student at Pearsons School of Floristry, you are entitled to special benefits.

  • 15% off for students currently enrolled in SFL30115 Certificate III in Floristry - All ‘Courses for Fun’ beginner and intermediate classes. Not available on Master classes. 
  • 10% off for past Certificate III students - All ‘Courses for Fun’ beginner and intermediate classes. Not available on Master classes. 

Please note that discounts are only available on upfront payment of course. The above discounts cannot be used with any other offer.
