Finding your dream Floristry job has never been easier!
Finding a dream job is something many people aspire to. They say ‘love what you do, and you’ll never work another day in your life’. Whilst finding a dream career is easy, entering the industry can be the tricky bit.
Getting the right Floristry training and education is the first step toward landing that dream job. But getting experience in the industry is a must
At Pearsons School of Floristry, we offer a limited number of places under the government funded Smart and Skilled program to young people who have never worked in our industry but who want to get a foot in the door.
Along with our Certificate III course we have outstanding student support where we mentor and guide and help students to find work placement as part of their studies.
Recently we talked to a Certificate III student - Sarah Farrugia, who is currently studying with us as a Smart and Skilled student to find out what her experience as a PSF student under S&S have been.
My name is Sarah-Jane Farrugia, I'm 18 and I live in Western Sydney where I grew up. I'd say I'm quite introverted and enjoy letting my creativity show through my work ethic. Doing activities such as art, hanging out with friends and working allows me to enjoy time out of the industry.
