What is it like to Study Certificate III on a Saturday?

What does your ideal Saturday look like?

Ask most people this question and they will tell you what they love doing the most and how it fits into their precious weekends. At Pearsons School of Floristry we count ourselves among the lucky ones who get to spend, not just the weekends but  every day doing what we love, working with flowers and teaching floristry!

Creative Design

Our floristry students are among these special people too, they have made the commitment to themselves to spend their Saturday doing what they love, learning with flowers. They have made the commitment to gain a formal floristry qualification SFL30115 Certificate lll in Floristry  and start their floristry career with us.

Many of our students are making their floral dreams a reality by transitioning from one career to another, by studying on our flexible program and making their study options work for them. Which is why our Saturday class is ideal. Starting a new career, learning new skills and knowledge, along with managing an existing job can be challenging but over the years we have helped countless new florists make this very transition.

Our Saturday classes are very popular and fit in to most people's lives really well. We asked some of our current and past students why Saturday class was perfect for them.

“ The school has a great vibe on the weekend. It’s lovely and relaxed and it gave me an opportunity to do something completely different to my day job. Highly recommend a saturday class for those who can't commit to a weekday class”

“I have a small business, working from home and also full time mum to 1 and 3 yr old girls. Saturday class was the only way studying would work for my family schedule. It is great to spend the whole day doing what I love and am passionate about knowing that my husband is having father and daughters bonding time. I love it!”

“ I work Mon-Fri 9-5 and I was so delighted when I found that Pearsons offered Saturday classes. It didn’t feel like an additional day of ‘study’ or ‘work’ - to me it was the day when I could be creative and have fun at the same time” Tazha - Saturday alumni student

“The Saturday class meant I was able to keep doing my full time job, so no loss of income. The great part of doing the course through Pearsons was also not having to source my own flowers making coming to class as convenient as possible” Irene Alumni student
