A year in pictures - and what a year it's been!

At Pearsons School of Floristry we love a celebration and what better to celebrate than the closing of one year and the expectation for the next.

As we round up everything we've achieved this year, we look back with gratitude for all our outstanding students, the incredible team that make it all happen, and for the community we have built around our fantastic school.

In February we hit the ground running, our students were in at the deep end completing their work experience for Valentines Day. Many red roses were packed and students learned all the fun of a busy period.

No time to rest and on to our next project. We were thrilled to receive a return invite to the prestigious Fleurs De Villes event held at the Royal Botanic gardens. It was such a joyous (but very hot) event and we were so proud to see many graduate students taking part and winning awards. There was even a visit from the Princess Royal which was a real thrill. Graduate student stunning floral dress design for Fleurs de Villes

Fleurs de Villes was nicely timed to be part of the celebrations for World Pride and we loved decorating the school at Oxford street.

In March we headed down to Melbourne for the International Flower and Garden show. Graduate students helped out and we had a blast, bringing home a silver medal to boot.

May was another great time for our amazing students to gain valuable experience working along side our team for Mothers Day.

Our exclusive, student only, Enrichment program has been incredible in 2023 with wonderful demonstration evenings, Markets tours and growers visits

In September we hosted The Master Class of Dreams - with the incredible Joseph Massie from the UK

Joseph Massie Master Class was beyond our expectations.

November saw another unforgettable , student only, Enrichment night - Craig Scott from East Coast Wildflowers and the very talented Bes from BESS Paddington. Our students were thrilled and absolutely fell in love with Australian Native Flowers

In November we re-launched our Advanced Design Classes, with stunning new images and course content. We cannot wait to deliver these classes and welcome students to explore design with us and push creative boundaries next year.

And we saved the very best for last!

We are absolutely thrilled to have moved to our new school location at Stanmore. We are so excited to be in our new state of the art classrooms.

The facilities at our Stanmore campus are world class and we are all under one (albeit very large!) roof,  alongside the Pearsons Florist team. Now when our students come to class they also can see the day to day operations of a busy working florist.

We couldn't be happier!

We cannot wait to share even more exciting Floristry in 2024!
