Highlights of our Career Course. Creativity. Connection. Confidence.
As our first intake of 2025 comes to a close, we're taking a moment to reflect on what has truly been a magical start to the year at Pearsons School of Floristry. It's been a season full of learning, laughter, and lush blooms, but most importantly, a season of growth. Our student-only enrichment evenings quickly became a highlight, intimate, inspiring, and a perfect space to explore the art and business of floristry a little deeper. We’ve loved watching friendships form and creativity spark in these sessions. A massive thank you to Ivan, from IF the Florist, for sharing his floral insight and knowledge.
A massive congratulations goes out to those who stepped outside their comfort zones to compete in the Royal Easter Show Floral Competitions. Your courage and creativity blew us away, and we couldn’t be prouder of the stunning designs you presented. Bravo!
This term also saw us out and about with our guided flower farm and market tours, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse at where the floral magic begins. From early morning market buzz to tranquil field strolls, these experiences gave us all a deeper appreciation for the journey from seed to bouquet.
Another exciting highlight was seeing many of our students gain hands-on experience during Valentine's Day, one of the busiest and most beautiful times of the year in floristry! From prepping blooms to assisting with arrangements and soaking up the fast-paced designer energy, it was a fantastic way to build real-world confidence and skills. And the good news? There’s more to come! We're thrilled to say our work experience opportunities for Mother's Day are almost full!
To every student who walked through our doors this term: thank you. Thank you for your trust, your heart, your questions, and your creativity. Watching you grow in skill and confidence has been the greatest reward, and we can't wait to see where your floral journey takes you next.
